Adjusting Color (Calibration)
This section describes the procedure for performing calibration manually.
IMPORTANT
Precautions when performing calibration
If you perform calibration frequently, this may affect the life of the toner cartridges or drum cartridge.
Perform calibration after making sure that the toner remains in the toner cartridges.
You can check the current toner cartridges status of each color in the [Consumables Information] dialog box in the Printer Status Window.
If you perform calibration in the state where the toner cartridges have reached the end of their life, calibration may not finish properly. In this case, replace the toner cartridges, and then perform calibration again.
NOTE
Perform calibration at the designated time or immediately after the printer is turned ON.
You can set the printer to automatically perform calibration at the designated time everyday or to perform calibration immediately after the printer is turned ON.

Click [ ] displayed in the task tray, and then select a printer name.

From the [Options] menu, select [Utility] → [Calibration].

Click [OK].

Calibration time
It takes approximately 57 seconds.
