This section describes errors and how to address them.

If you disconnect the power plug of the machine, all the fax documents stored in memory are deleted. Send or print necessary fax documents before disconnecting the power plug.

 

If a printer problem occurs

When the message "A printer error has occurred." is displayed, perform the operation described below.

If error number "5100" is displayed

1) Check whether anything is blocking the movement of the FINE Cartridge Holder.

2) Cancel printing, and turn off the machine.

3) Then clear the paper jam or foreign object that is preventing the FINE Cartridge Holder from moving, and turn on the machine again.

Be careful not to touch the components inside the machine. The machine may not print out properly if you touch it.

 

If the problem is not resolved, contact the service center.

Other occasion

1) Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply.

2) Plug the machine back in and turn the machine back on.

 

If the problem is not resolved, contact the service center.
