The [Main] tab allows you to specify Media Type, Print Quality, Color/Intensity, and Grayscale Printing.

Select the media type from the list.

Displays the paper source.

Print Quality

Specify the print quality.
When you select "High", "Standard", or "Fast", the print quality and the halftoning method are set automatically.

"High"

Select this value to print with priority on appearance rather than print speed.

"Standard"

Select this value to print with standard speed and quality.

"Fast"

Select this value to print with priority on speed rather than print quality.

"Custom"

When you select this value, the [Set...] button can be selected. Click the [Set...] button to display the [Custom] dialog box.

 

In this dialog box, you can specify [Quality] and the [Halftoning] method.
The items that can be selected differ according to the Media Type.

Color/Intensity

Specify the color adjustment.

"Auto"

The settings for [Color Balance], [Intensity], [Contrast], and [Brightness] are adjusted automatically.

"Manual"

When you select this value, the [Set...] button can be selected. Click the [Set...] button to display the [Manual Color Adjustment] dialog box.

 

In this dialog box, you can specify the following settings:

[Vivid Photo]

Enable this item if you want to print with vivid tones.

[Color Balance]

You can adjust the cyan, magenta, and yellow colors.

[Intensity]

You can adjust the intensity of the colors.

[Contrast]

You can adjust the contrast.

[Brightness]

You can adjust the brightness.

You cannot specify any setting items other than [Intensity], [Contrast], and [Brightness] if you enable [Grayscale Printing].

Grayscale Printing

Enable this item if you want to print with Grayscale Printing.

You cannot specify any setting items other than [Intensity], [Contrast], and [Brightness] in the [Manual Color Adjustment] dialog box if you enable [Grayscale Printing].
